I have been busy with the Photography section of this website lately. Here is the first mental model about what goes in the blog and what goes on that section.
An old travel note about Venice Beach
You can consider yourself lucky if you have walked from Venice in the direction of Santa Monica on a spring afternoon, the sun setting somewhere behind the mountains and turning the afternoon orange as the silhouettes of the pier in the horizon promise an evening full of amusements.
The Archive is Done
The archive is done. I basically compiled the least-embarrassing scribblings from my old blog (DIvagaciones, Sinsentidos y Rockanrol’) into a few digestible categories.
Shooting Leica

The Swords of Strongmen
A rambling about our obsession with weapons and swords and the strong men that wield them (from King Arthur to Simón Bolivar) with the occasion of Schwarzenegger’s message to Trump back in 2021.
Ellie’s Space Travel - The Last of Us II
Wrote this after playing the scene in the video-game (later recreated in the tv show) where Joel takes Ellie to explore space at the museum. I tend to think that we love these post-apolyptic stories partly because underlying the survival drama they present us with foundational questions about what would it take for us to rebuild our humanity -after- the world has ended.
Ir a Auschwitz
